Tara works primarily with clients involved in complex commercial litigation, providing counsel and representation at all stages of the litigation process. She has worked on behalf of large financial institutions, private investors, public and private corporations, and individuals. Prior to joining RBF Law, Tara was an associate with a Denver-based litigation firm, where her practice was focused primarily on large-scale mortgage backed securities litigation. As part of the RBF Law team, Tara strives to provide innovative and efficient solutions to effectively meet the goals of her clients.
Tara attended Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, where she earned distinction for her legal writing and oral advocacy in the moot court program. While in law school, Tara worked for two years as a teaching assistant for the Legal Writing Department and worked for the Lewis & Clark Legal Clinic, advocating for clients facing various issues in the areas of Bankruptcy, Family Law, and Landlord Tenant Law. Post law school, Tara accepted a research fellowship, undertaking research related to improving consumer safety standards. As an attorney, Tara has worked with various nonprofit legal clinics, providing pro bono services to clients seeking advice and representation related to Bankruptcy and Family Law matters.
