To “lead like a woman” is the goal that drives attorney Maritza Braswell.
Growing up with her dad as a role model, Braswell inherited his entrepreneurial spirit while at the same time loving the practice of law.
After working with the Family Tree Women in Crisis shelter, she went to Rutgers law school and found her way in commercial litigation.
Now a partner at the firm, Braswell has served as trial counsel in her representation of American International Group Inc. against Bank of America and currently serves as national counsel for Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. Her work has been reported in Reuters and Law360.
